For the first time, WVU Real Estate participated in public-private partnership agreements to develop properties across the university campus. These partnerships will contribute more than $81 million to local and state tax revenues during their 40-year lifespan.  As part of the University housing master plan, there are three new student housing complexes.  The University apartments include:
Other developments include Evansdale Crossing, which is a one-stop-shop student centered space which includes retail space.  In addition, the Monongalia County Baseball Park which is a facility shared by the WVU baseball team along with the minor league WV Black Bears.
